Refunds and Returns Policy for Southern Home Outlet

Cancellation and Returns

  • Policy Overview: We maintain a strict no cancellation and no returns policy. This is due to the specific nature of our products, which are often ordered in to meet your specific requirements.
  • Exceptional Circumstances: In rare cases where we do accept a cancellation or return, the following fees apply:
    Restocking and Handling Fee: A fee of 30% will be charged.
    Processing Fee: A processing fee of 5% may be applicable.
    Credit Card Processing Fee: A fixed 5% fee is applicable on all cancelled orders.
  • Refund Processing: Full refunds, after the deduction of any applicable fees, will be processed within 7-10 business days. Please note that refund requests will not be entertained beyond 30 days from the order date.
    Product Availability and Stock Issues

Out of Stock Products:

In the event a product is not in stock after an order has been placed, we will promptly notify you and offer the following options:

  • Alternative Product: We will suggest a comparable product for your consideration.
    Delayed Delivery: If you wish to wait for the product to become available, we will provide an estimated timeframe.
    Full Refund: If neither of the above options is suitable, we will issue a full refund without any additional fees.
    Molding and Trim

Order Accuracy:

Please ensure you order the correct moldings and transitions for your project. Consult with your installer to verify the specifications.

  • Return Policy: Due to the custom nature of these items, we do not accept returns of moldings and trim, especially if they have been cut or altered in any way.

Order Review:

We encourage customers to review their orders thoroughly before finalizing to avoid any need for cancellations or returns.

  • Customer Responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the suitability and compatibility of products for their specific project needs.

Terms and Conditions for Southern Home Outlet

Warranty

At Southern Home Source, we take pride in offering only first-quality products from trusted manufacturers. As an authorized dealer, all our products come with the manufacturer’s warranty. To ensure your warranty remains valid, it’s crucial to adhere strictly to the manufacturer’s installation guidelines. For detailed warranty information, you can visit the manufacturer’s website or ask our sales team to provide you with a copy for your specific product.

  • Product Images: The images on our website are for reference only. We recommend viewing a sample before placing your order. Southern Home Outlet is not responsible for discrepancies between the website images and the actual product. It’s your responsibility to ensure the product meets your project’s requirements.
  • Cancellation and Returns: We operate with a strict no cancellation and no returns policy. This is due to the nature of our products, which are often ordered in. However, in exceptional cases where we do accept a cancellation, a restocking and handling fee of 30% or a processing fee of 5% may apply. Full refunds, after deducting applicable fees, will be processed within 7-10 business days but not beyond 30 days from the order date. A fixed 5% credit card processing fee is applicable on all cancelled orders.
  • Molding and Trim: Please double-check with your installer to ensure you order the correct moldings and transitions. We do not accept returns of moldings, especially if they have been cut.

Shipping

  • Nationwide Delivery: We deliver to the 48 contiguous states and provide you with a tracking number. Residential customers will be contacted a day before delivery to schedule a time. All rugs ship free. When you order 600 sq. ft. or more, we’ll ship your flooring FREE anywhere in the continental U.S. See our Special Offers for details.
  • Special Locations: For deliveries to islands, please inform us in advance for an accurate shipping quote.
  • Delivery Process: Most deliveries are curb-side and do not include unloading or indoor delivery unless requested for an additional fee. Please be prepared to meet the driver in a safe location if driveway delivery is not feasible.
  • Damaged Goods: In the event of damaged goods, please note all damages on the driver’s delivery receipt. We require salvaging usable material from damaged boxes. Refuse the shipment only if it’s completely destroyed. Replacements will correspond to the unusable portion of your order.
  • Delivery Scheduling: Our shipping typically takes 5-10 business days, sometimes longer. Please coordinate with your salesperson for an estimated delivery timeframe. We do not deliver on weekends and advise not to schedule installations until you have received the materials.

Claims

As an authorized dealer, all products come with the full manufacturer’s warranty. For any product issues, please initiate a claim through Southern Home Outlet. Contact your salesperson or email sales@southernhomeoutlet.com with the invoice number, details of the issue, quantity involved, and ample photographic evidence. The claims process can take up to 90 business days, but typically resolves sooner. Please follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for installation to avoid any issues.

Jurisdiction & Venue

For any legal matters arising from transactions with us, jurisdiction and venue shall be in Whitfield County, Georgia, regardless of the parties’ locations or shipping points.

Installer Directory

The Southern Home Outlet Installer Directory (“Directory”) is provided as a convenience for customers seeking professional installers. Participation in the Directory is voluntary for both installers and customers. The Directory is intended to help connect customers to local installers.

  • No Endorsement. Listing in the Directory or holding a Verified Pro badge does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of quality, performance, or reliability by Southern Home Outlet. The Verified Pro badge only confirms that a business license has been received; it does not assess installer skill or reliability.
  • Voluntary Use and Responsibility. Customers are responsible for independently verifying the qualifications, licenses, insurance, and references of any installer they choose to hire. Use of the Directory is entirely voluntary, and customers engage with installers at their own risk. Southern Home Outlet is not responsible for any damages, losses, or claims arising from the engagement or work of installers found through the Directory.
  • Installer Responsibility. Installers listed in the Directory are solely responsible for the services they provide to customers. Southern Home Outlet does not assume any obligation or liability related to installer work, contracts, or disputes between installers and customers.
  • Limitation of Liability. By using the Directory, customers acknowledge that Southern Home Outlet is not responsible for any outcomes, including financial loss, property damage, or personal injury, resulting from the use of an installer.
  • Changes to the Directory. Southern Home Outlet reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Directory or these terms at any time. Continued use of the Directory constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
  • Contractor Directory & Information Use. If you identify as a contractor or installer on our quote forms, you authorize Southern Home Outlet to include your provided business information (including name, contact details, and service area) in our public-facing Contractor Directory. This information is shared to facilitate connections between customers and local professionals. You may request removal from this directory at any time by contacting us directly.

Program Overview

The Southern Home Outlet Pro Installer Program (“Program”) is a free-to-join program for professional installers and contractors who purchase products from Southern Home Outlet. The Program provides Members with instant benefits, including a 10% discount on all purchases, free shipping1, and listing in the Installer Directory. Optional Verified Pro badges are available for a nominal monthly fee, offering increased visibility in installer directory search results.

Eligibility

Membership is open to professional installers, contractors, and business owners in the United States. Personal, non-commercial use is not eligible. By joining, you represent that you are authorized to register on behalf of your business.

Membership Benefits

Members receive full benefits immediately upon joining. These include:

Verified Pro Badge

While the badge enhances credibility, it does not guarantee leads or business.

Data Collection

  • Communication Opt-In By checking agreeing to our Terms of Service you agree to receive promotional and personalized marketing text messages or emails from Southern Home Outlet at the phone number and email provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Frequency varies.
  • Non-Sharing We will not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Account Management

Members must provide accurate and current business information when signing up. Southern Home Outlet reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of suspected fraud, misuse, or false information.

Use of Program Benefits

Program benefits are non-transferable and intended for the registered Member only. Benefits may not be combined with other promotional offers unless explicitly stated. Southern Home Outlet may modify or discontinue benefits at any time.

Termination

Members may cancel participation in the Program at any time, after which access to benefits and directory listings will cease. Southern Home Outlet may also terminate a Member’s participation for cause, including fraud, abuse, or violation of Program terms.

Limitation of Liability

Southern Home Outlet is not responsible for any loss, damage, or expense arising from participation in the Program, use of benefits, or inclusion in the Installer Directory.

Changes to the Program

Southern Home Outlet reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or these terms at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
